If you've made it this far then you must like my work or me in some way, shape or form and I couldn't be happier. So, here is a little bit more about me and my family, booking, and the wedding experience.
Meet my family...
My husband, Eddie, and my two sons, Dawson and Eli.
Eddie and I have been together for 10 years. We are high school sweethearts.
We were married in on 9/6/14. (best day evaa)
God gave me the best gifts he could have ever given me! He made me a boy mom!! I love those boys so much.

How it all began...
Did you know I've been photographing weddings for 8 years?
I first started my business while I was in college in 2010. I was in college to be a teacher! Until I found my passion for photography.
Fun fact: My first wedding was on the beach at Emerald Isle. It was low key and perfect for my first wedding. I'm still great friends with that bride.
I've since traveled all over the east coast for my couples. Some of my favorite weddings were in Sarasota, Baltimore and Jekyll Island.
My family and I live just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina but we love to travel! My husband and I honeymooned in San Diego. We are dying to go back. If I'm not in Florida shooting a wedding then we are visiting the Magic Kingdom FO SHO!
Some of my bucket list wedding locations include San Diego, Colorado, and Hawaii. That's right! All here in the US. I'd love to travel outside of the US as well but home is where the heart is currently.
Speaking of home, home is my husband and my boys. If I'm not shooting weddings then I am home with them, playing "Guess Who?" with Dawson or making football dips for the hubs and some friends. Oh and let's not leave out my little ginger babe. My snuggle baby Eli is the sweetest. He's almost one! Oh goodness, I could cry!!

The Wedding Experience
I'm sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It's all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You're planning the day that you've been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! My goal as a wedding photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it's a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When my couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! When I think back to my wedding day, I remember amazing memories... but most of the moments I remember really well are the instances that were captured in my pictures. They are priceless to me. Our photographer made us feel so incredibly comfortable and for the first time, I experienced what it feels like to be in front of the camera as a bride. Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience... shouldn't it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, it's to create an experience that they will never forget.
One way I ensure that our brides and grooms enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible is through forming a relationship with our couples. I try my best to make sure that all of my couples are the PERFECT fit with me before officially booking. A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer, and be EXCITED about the whole process with them! After booking, I love getting to know my clients through an engagement session that helps them warm up to the camera so that they are ready to rock and roll on the wedding day!! By the time the wedding day arrives, my clients feel more like friends that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography! Now that you know a little bit about my approach to the wedding day, you can continue reading to find more detailed information about THE WEDDING EXPERIENCE!
FUN FACT: Ranunculus are my favorite flower because I carried them in my bouquet on my wedding day!
FAQ's - The Wedding Experience
I am always willing to travel for engagement sessions! I actually love when my couples ask me to photograph them in a location that is special to them. We like to book engagement sessions at least 2 months in advance and any travel in the state of NC is included.
I average about 75-100 images per hour that I'm shooting. I love delivering my client's files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I would want if I were in your shoes.
FUN FACT: Coffee and red lipstick are staples in my life.
I am often asked if 8 hours is enough to capture the full wedding day story and the answer is yes! My main goal is securing and saving your date. We can always add more coverage later once we have a better idea of your wedding day timeline.
my shooting style:
I love being interactive and discreet through out the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I need to be in control in order accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments where you wouldn't even know I am there (the ceremony, dancings, toasts, etc.) I teach my couples how to pose, model and interact during our engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don't need quite as much instruction from me!
Once I've answered any questions you may have and you've decided that my Wedding Experience is exactly what you're looking for on your wedding day the next step is a booking proposal. I will send over my contract and you can save your date by signing it and paying your retainer.
Investment and Collection Guide
How long will my engagement, bridal or boudoir session last?
Typically, all my sessions last about 2 hours.
DO i have to order prints through you?
Nope, you sure don't. With your gallery you'll be able to download your images straight to your computer. I can definitely help send you in the right direction though. We don't want Walmart prints!
DO you shoot with flash?
I am a natural light photographer. So on your wedding day I will be on the hunt for the best lighting scenarios. Natural light to me is the most flattering. I will use flash at your reception once the sun has made it's exit.
Can i see a what my gallery will look like?
Sure! View that here.
Can I edit my photos?
No, unfortunately not. Yes, that even means filters on IG. I've worked hard to achieve the right kind of light in each one of your photos and then to put my magic on them in post. Please do not edit them, this also includes putting them in black and white.
Can i share them on social media?
Absolutely!! I want you to share with the world how much you love your photos!
I hope I have answered all of your questions! If not, ask away...
