It’s been a while since I’ve gone through an entire engagement session without barely bringing up the couple’s wedding. We walked around The Biltmore laughing, chatting, and enjoying taking in the views. It was such a nice treat to meet such down to Earth couple!
Robert and Laura met because they both enjoying running. Laura spoke about how they first met. She said she played a little hard to get and thought she might have even came across mean. Robert nodded. We all laughed! She said that she didn’t want to let on that she had a crush on Robert.
After their engagement session we went and had a glass of wine at Antler Hill Winery. We ate hummus and talked about all things wedding. This sweet couples loves to travel. I don’t think I could have picked a better couple experience my first time at The Biltmore. Laura knew all the ins and outs. They are actually from Virginia but travel here often because Laura’s mom owns a Llama farm! A stinking Llama farm!!!
Guys, the weather could not have been better for this gorgeous session. This was actually a reschedule. We had originally planned for February, but NC was being hit by loads of rain and of course it was cold. I’m so happy we rescheduled. The sun really showed off for Laura and Rob. Having the sun out also meant for clear views. It was really important to them to get some photos with the mountain views in the background. They really connect with that. Not only did they get engaged on a mountain top but they are getting married at Overlook Barn’s Cliff Side Barn. Doing their engagement session a little later into the year also meant for gorgeous blooms! The tulips were out of this world. Almost as pretty as Laura’s glowing smile. By the end of the day we had the place to ourselves which meant for some stunning lawn shots. These guys are so photogenic and fun! I can’t wait for their wedding in June.
