Stephanie + Josh’s Engagement Session at Hanging Rock State Park

Who knew right outside of Winston Salem was a mountain? One of the perks of being a photographer in North Carolina. Stephanie and Josh are getting married in October at Il Bella Gardens. I am so excited for their boho chic wedding. These two are so incredibly stylish I can’t wait! You know a session is going to be good when the clients are more then happy to walk in freezing water. On top of that they trusted me every bit of our hour hike even though we almost didn’t make it for sunset. It was worth it! That pink sky and those beautiful views. ALSO! Can we talk about Sadie. OMG, she was living her best life out there! She reminds me so much of my Lacey. If you didn’t know, I am also a German Shepherd Mom. The way Sadie would run ahead on the hike, then run right back to check on Stephanie and Josh reminded me SO MUCH of my girl! It was wild.

Josh proposed by surprising Stephanie when she took a trip to New York. He got down on one knee in the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge. LIKE WHAT? What an unforgettable moment. I think their wedding is going to be just as unforgettable and I can’t wait!
