Amber and Dan had originally planned to tie the knot at The Brown Mountain Beach Resort but due to covid they decided to downsize their wedding and have it at their new home in the mountains. Amber is such a joyful bride. She is such a fun person. Dan is very chill and a perfect compliment to Amber. They truly make an amazing pair.
Amber and Dan met on a blind date. Their officiant and friend was actually the one that set them up. They went on a date when Amber was home from college and have been inseparable ever sense. They dated for 6 years until Dan took Amber out for dinner to celebrate her success in anesthesia school but he had a surprise up his sleeve. He took Amber to the butterfly garden next to the Knight’s Stadium and proposed. Amber said that wasn’t even the big surprise. Dan had all of their friends and family waiting across the street with balloons and champagne.
Have the wedding that you want to. Don’t let others influence your decision, at the end of the day those that love you will have the best time whether you get married at the courthouse or have 500 guests at the Duke mansion. This day is for you and your husband and however you choose to be married it will be perfect. I never thought I would have a backyard wedding, but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. It was the most perfect day.
