It was amazing being back at The Jekyll Island Club for Matt and Krista’s Wedding. Crane Cottage is so beautiful. I love the Spanish Moss and architecture. All of Jekyll Island is gorgeous but the Club is top tier. The girls started off the morning in robes with champagne. Krista had some glitz to her wedding style. Her shoes, garter and dress all had sequins on them. Her Hayley Page racer back dress was so stunning on her. Matt’s reaction to their first look was so sweet! They laughed until they cried. You can really see this sweet couple’s personality come out in their first dance. Matt got really animated and had everyone crackin’ up. He had Krista laughing it up all day long! One of the best parts of having a first look is being about to spend your wedding day with the person you’re marrying.
Angie from Lavender and Grace Studio rocked the flowers. They were colorful and so summery with coral peonies and yellow ranunculus. The cake artist did beautiful sugar flowers to match. The cake was probably one of my favorite details of the day. It was one of the first times I didn’t want to see the cake cut up and served because it was so stunning. And y’all know I love some cake. The guests had dinner and dancing out in the garden at Crane Cottage and moved inside for toasts, cake cutting and more dancing. Krista killed it on the dance floor. They had fun light sticks and really boogied.
Want to see more of Matt & Krista? Check out their engagement session in Charleston! We just avoided the rain. It was the best time. Charleston is so gorgeous.
