The Biltmore is one of my favorite places to photograph in North Carolina. For the architecture definitely but also all the beautiful plants. The Biltmore provides so much it’s hard to fit it all in the time of a session. The Rose Garden was somewhat in bloom. It was still so pretty. We walked to the Conservatory and it always gives me such Harry Potter vibes. I’m not sure why but it’s my favorite part of the whole estate. My favorite secret spot was having some construction done so we did have to skip it but we made our way up to The Statue of Diana which gives you the best view of the house. After we made our way to the Winery. It was the end of September so there was a pretty cornfield right off the road. There was also a willow tree right next to a parking lot and I am such a sucker for willow trees we had to use it.
Mary and David are so sweet. They are getting married out of state but I am so happy I got to meet them and spend the day with them. We debated on going to Charleston for their engagement session but the couple decided on The Biltmore. Either would have been a great choice. I loved their outfit choices. I always send my couples outfit suggestions and location choices but Mary and David knocked it out of the park!
