Sarah & Zack Get Married At Overlook Barn

Zack and Sarah currently live in Charlotte, where we did their engagement session. They met in Charlotte through mutual friends a few years ago. Both of them have family scattered all over the east coast so they decided to have their wedding at Overlook Barn – one of North Carolina’s most beautiful venues. It was super important to them that their wedding be meaningful 50 years from now. They kept it classic with colors of mauve, navy and gold. Zack looked so dashing in his classic navy tux. Sarah chose her dress because of it’s simple and clean skirt – not to mention that flow factor! They loved the rustic vibes of the big barn but wanted a romantic feel so they added in lots of candles, florals and gold. The florals consisted of rich purples, white bulbs, and lots of greenery.

Most of the day was overcast but it did rain right before their ceremony. No worries though because Overlook Barn has you covered. The Cliff Side barn is so simple and beautiful. It has the most perfect view of the mountains and single huge chandelier hanging from the barn ceiling. One of the most sentimental moments of the day was the Daddy/Daughter First Look. Sarah is the only daughter so it was super emotional and sweet. Dad couldn’t keep it together! Zack and Sarah said they both felt relief once they sat down at the family sized table with all of their best friends for dinner. Let’s talk about their dancing!! Both the bridal party and Zack and Sarah had dance routines and it was amazing. So much fun to watch!! The night carried on with an amazing band and a big party!
