Stephanie & Garrett’s Winston Salem Engagement Session
I’ve known and worked with Stephanie for a long time now. As fellow wedding vendors, we’ve worked together on weddings and shoots for years. She’s the owner of Sophisticated Florals by Stephanie out of Winston Salem. I’m so honored she asked me to be her and Garrett’s wedding photographer. She’s such a dear friend in the industry and I’m so happy to see her happy! This was my first time meeting Garrett and I had the best time getting to know him. When Steph told me they were thinking about doing a picnic engagement session I was beyond excited. The Winston Salem Picnic Ladies puts on picnics for shoots and date nights. We did theirs at The Little Chapel’s venue in Winston Salem, NC. It’s a beautiful venue with a small chapel being built on acres of land. There are lots of trees, a cute pond and stream. It was beautiful for a summer time shoot. Steph put together the flowers for the table and the boat. I love flower and when clients are down for some props! I can’t wait for their wedding in August.

[…] The couple chose to keep their ceremony super simple and small by having all their guests stand. They kept it super short and only had a maid of honor, a best man and a flower girl. Next, at the reception they chose a band as their entertainment. Steph and Garrett weren’t big dancers instead they chose to sip wine slushies, walk and sit at each table and chat with their guests.
